Basildon and district angling society

With immediate effect The Moat is closed to all fishing.
The lake is currently suffering from low oxygen levels and to save putting the fish under any more stress it has been decided we will close until further notice.
The lock has been changed temporarily to stop anyone going up there.
We must stress this is just a precaution and we will be going up there to check levels through out the day and as soon as we see a improvement we will open it back up. All other club waters remain open to everyone.
